📣 If You Can Help Them, Don’t Hurt Them I’m on my way to volunteer at the New England Center and Home for Veterans here in Boston. ➡️ It’s a reminder that when we see someone who may be experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, or active addiction, we’re seeing a human being. They could be a veteran, someone’s father, mother, son, daughter, grandparent, or loved one — someone who belongs to somebody. I’ve been homeless before. Tyler Simmons was a Black US military pilot who died serving in a unjust American war. He's among the first 13 US troops who have died. Barricades have gone up around the US Capitol, where we have a right to protest, because the mutiny of perverts is scared of the large peaceful crowds of #WashingtonDC protesters. Veterans were occupying the area yesterday. After someone tripped over a barricade, a bunch of vets said "fuck it" and went over the fallen barrier to the Capitol steps. Whoops! Turns out I wasn't paying my VA healthcare copays... ...I didn't know I had VA healthcare copays. I thought the VA covered everything... I think the bulk of those were for prescription meds. Anyhow. While I finally got accepted into free healthcare for having served in the US military, it's not completely free. Annnnd.... because I missed that I owed them money, some of my bill was sent to a collections agency! Ha! I sorted it out and paid my collections fee. It wasn't a lot - all things considered. A couple hundred dollars over the course of a year and about $20 in fees to the collections agency (on top of what I owed them). Meh. Will just be better at checking the eHealth portal and see if I owe them anything at any give month. #healthcare #veterans #va

For the millionth time, just replace "trans" with "jews". Trans people being forcefully discharged from service, without pay or anything promised to them, simply for being trans. Literally, being transgender is now seen as being "a dishonorable person" and "not fit for service".
