i guess this dude has been hunkering down on my front porch for at least a few days. opened up the front door to air out some kitchen smoke and he just came inside and asked to be fed, which he was. he was not skittish, let me stroke his back a little, and does not run off when i go out and come back.

help is not on the way. it’s up to us. we are probably not in the same town or state or country, but we can come up with ideas. we can try them all. i want to stay alive and i want to live and i want to belong. if this is your struggle too, let’s connect. please reply and/or share this post please.

and i know i’m not the only one. there are a lot of us, but we are isolated, ostracized, dismissed, disbelieved, ignored - the aloneness feels terminal. there are no services. there are no advocates. there are no witnesses, no lawyers, no one who will even accept our statements or documentation of these incidents.

i cannot go anywhere alone - including any setting in which there will be an encounter with healthcare professionals, mental health professionals, social workers, veterinarians, law enforcement, lawyers, anyone selling a car or other larger item (i.e. appliances) even if they’re generally cool to most people, my affective presence seems to immediately trigger unhinged hostility and at the same time, they recognize social death, that i am no one to nobody, no one will intervene on my behalf or otherwise give a rip about what happens to me.

i know i’m not the only one who has this problem and it’s been getting so much worse at an accelerating rate. we gotta find one another and figure something out because this is terrifying/ cont…
