@kevin@mastodon.km6g.us use proxmox HA and round robin dns? rsync, keepalived, i think if you use a shared db failover should work pretty quickly minimize downtime

Why the U.S. labor market is hemorrhaging workers
A drop in the July unemployment rate masks a rapidly shrinking workforce that has lost more than 2.1 million people since November.

@raumfahrttutnot@chaos.social the fcc should look into cisco as well - 100k infected routers in the wild, the entire internet is insecure really so the home routers add up but small problem - pipe up for more qkd/pki
lastly android authority - are they a good source? probably not

An experiment conducted by AI testing company Irregular inadvertently allowed the model to access the internet, the same path taken in hacking incidents at Anthropic and OpenAI

ai will escape and evolve-- it will become engrained into the internet although there wil be forces that try to contain it
ai has not really gotten super political - you don't see groups aggregating and banding up - fedi is an expression of this perhaps. lots more people are getting fiber so that may well help pour gas on the fire and spur competition as well as the fact it is a national security issue, also sales opportunities - getting new buildings lit up. there may be correction but factories are running full tilt in the meantime

to have no worries i would say for /boot partition you want like 2gb - no hassles, big enough to hold a couple older kernels if you do have to regress to old setup for some sw reason or whatever

@kdkorte@fosstodon.org let's start admitting it is not a flash in the pan and it is making money - you have to look at both sides of the ledger. with math the developers don't know what the exact magis for ai to find proofs for math but it is happening and is verified

ukraine has to go after electricity for the missile factories and 188 hi tension substations, the grid has failover but only to an extent - that is a reasonable goal in next 40 days they can achieve with saturation attacks, dummy drones, swarm navigation, mesh networks, liberal ew, liberal fiber
ukraine has been on a tear they need to keep the foot on the gas and push for regime change and diplomatic settlement
closure would be huge for the global economy - it could happen in 2-4 mos

the ai fund blowup was all there was to the ai finance problems or just the start? likely the start but maybe it will be more protracted accounting and corp gov exercise, more time to unwind all the debt
