Whoops! Turns out I wasn't paying my VA healthcare copays... ...I didn't know I had VA healthcare copays. I thought the VA covered everything... I think the bulk of those were for prescription meds. Anyhow. While I finally got accepted into free healthcare for having served in the US military, it's not completely free. Annnnd.... because I missed that I owed them money, some of my bill was sent to a collections agency! Ha! I sorted it out and paid my collections fee. It wasn't a lot - all things considered. A couple hundred dollars over the course of a year and about $20 in fees to the collections agency (on top of what I owed them). Meh. Will just be better at checking the eHealth portal and see if I owe them anything at any give month. #healthcare #veterans #va
