possible while keeping the license? And yet there's the Gnuplot
issue, if not I'd use Emacs+Calc more frequently (and texinfo).
Altough Groff+UTP can do a lot, output to PDF and such without
requiring a multiGB setup and even typeset Math with ease.

licenses, it's forbidden. On Gnuplot... it's
'free' but not GPL compatible.

GPL compatible) Gnuplot for plots. They should rewrite
the output for GNU #Plotutils and enhance the second
to have 3D plot support.

code, enough to do Math). It's 2026 and still doesn't
support neither UTF8 nor Unicode fonts. Trying to
enforce them under Xaw3D (LD_PRELOAD) will crash XEdit.
That editor would have lots of support if it supported them.
It's far lighter than Emacs and with the bundled Lisp
you might do wonders.
Back to Groff/Troff.
At least under #Hyperbola GNU (and future #BSD) with #mandoc
and maybe by promoting groff they are pretty much safe
even to typeset formulae into diferent formats, you can
pretty much use Groff for Math paper drafts and then
use TexLive for standard, rigid academic layouts.

@jschwart Yeah, and the system somehow will often run faster
and more stable, at least in my case with Linux libre (I used a
plugged kbd/mouse) against a propietary Linux kernel.
I maybe lost some GPU vaapi stuff (I didn't look) but as I
don't have 4k needs 1080p video from the couch was pretty much
perfect with libre iGPU drivers for Intel.

@jschwart Also I would understand nonguix 's purpose if only were
for firmware purposes where there's no libre alternative to get a
device working and nothing more. No software, no control panels,
no nothing: just the firmware to get a device working such
as a wireless adapter. Maybe Bluetooth, Wireless and a few more.
No CPU microcode, no IntelME kernel modules in any way, no Steam,
no propietary AMD/Nvidia GL/Vulkan libraries, no modules for CUPS,
no Chrome.

@jschwart Yet some people run 99% deblobbed laptops with gnuboot or similar
or they switched to TALOS completely. I can't access to a ROM burner with ease,
but for sure I can choose a GPU with libre drivers and some refurbished laptops
with free firmware for almost anything.

Pensaréis que lo que digo es clasista. A ver, caídas en drogas

que acabó jodido por esas mierdas, y gente que conozco
han tenido a familiares pasando por lo mismo.
Y habría que luchar por obligar a las empresas

multiorgánicos (la puta realidad, de mi barrio un barman
con cáncer de esófago y otro el hígado jodido) en
las etiquetas como se hace con el tabaco.
Cosas que hacen a la gente de barrio votar a la derecha:
- La contaminación jode las meninges y el campo frontal.
- El alcohol y las drogas lo mismo, son muy baratas
comparadas con otro tipo de ocio, te puede valer menos
una cerveza de marca blanca que la que no tenga alcohol.
- Falta de ocio sano que no haga que la gente vaya a bares
con drogas y alcohol como única fuente de ocio.
- Las cafeterías sin alcohol por lo general venden
el género mucho más caro y por ello mucha gente
no va ahí.
- La derecha de mensajes simplificados sin prosa pesante
Lo primero (de las fábricas no nos podemos librar,
pero sí de buena cantidad de vehículos a gasolina con
el coche eléctrico. Con lo segundo, jodido; pero a mejor
salud mental menos consumo de alcohol y drogas que se
retroalimentan.
Con los precios del alcohol, cuando se popularicen
las kombuchas y demás a precios normales (ojo,
no las puede tomar cualquiera, prohibidas para
embarazadas) veremos si deja de ser una bebida
'para pijos' en vez de tener los precios que tienen.
En PrimaPrix y Scrubs al menos se pueden conseguir
a 1 euro la lata, más o menos lo que una tónica.
En Scrubs hasta menos. No es por hacer publicidad,
es lo que hay.
