ich hab bei meiner Recherche für mein #PIM (ist der Name eigentlich standard gewesen oder hatte Karl den entwickelt?) #Obsidian angesehen und mich bewusst für #emacs und #orgmode entschieden aber, mein #adhs Gehirn macht gerade nicht mit, weil Obsidian ja diese tolle Vernetzung Chart hat, die ist so toll, das brauchst du unbedingt ja wirklich nein, Hirn, brauche ich nicht. #SocialMedia I hereby am trying out a new plugin for #Obsidian: a post-thread-to-Mastodon plugin! It took a while for me to figure out how to actually get it to authenticate with #Mastodon; it simply would NOT do so. I tried on Linux; the results varied depending on which browser was set as my default browser; I tried both #Firefox and #Brave... I may even have tried #Waterfox too, I can't remember. [1/5]

I have recently taken a hard look at migrating away from my Lenovo i7 Win11 laptop to a #macbook Pro for my main productivity workhorse. While there are some great reasons to stick with My ASUS i9 laptop (gaming), there are at least for me some very compelling reasons to shift to a Mac for my daily driver. Having said that, one of the main reasons I haven’t made the switch involves my apprehension over how a potential migration of my #obsidian environment will shake out. I do use Obsidian Sync, so in theory the data should be taken care of but I use a commerally available system of customizations that I would hate to have to reconfigure from scratch. As it is, a simple host to host transfer of my Obsidian environment scares me, but cross-platform and potential additional complexity adds hesitancy. Bawk bawk. <- me

Kun aloitin paperisen päiväkirjan kirjoittamisen, päätin ensimmäisestä päivästä alkaen alleviivata kirjoituksissa jokaisen henkilön nimen. Ajatuksena oli, että jos joskus silmäilen vanhoja kirjoituksia, pystyn helposti löytämään mainitut ihmiset ja saan yleiskuvan siitä, kenen kanssa olen sinä päivänä touhunnut tai ketä olen ajatellut. Tämä ajatus kasvoi aivan uusiin mittoihin kun aloin digitoimaan kirjoituksiani Obsidianiin. Olen tehnyt jokaiselle henkilölle oman muistion ja jokainen nimen mainita kirjoituksessa toimii linkkinä muistioon. Sen myötä pystyn helposti löytämään kaikki päiväkirjakirjoitukset, joissa jokainen henkilö on mainittu. En tiedä mihin tarvitse tätä, mutta se tuntuu aika siistiltä! 😊 #päiväkirja #obsidian

I am working on a writing tool. imagine Scrivener and Obsidian having a baby. Written in rust.
Not using electron, but egui. Manuscript locally in markdown. Would you be interested in being an alpha tester? Windows, Mac and Linux targeted.

Also:

  • Support for Lisa Crons story cards
  • Wikilinks and backlinks like in Obsidian
  • Integrated Pomodoro timer

License is currently undecided, but probably a combination of open source and a proprietary 'plus' version.
