i've learned enough ZPL to draw boxes, strings, and graphics and also enough about this printer to think my printer's web media gap sensor needs to be calibrated, because all my vertical offsets are wrong and i'm compensating by eye might need to adjust the print intensity as well since the fine dithering is being wiped out #MtG #MagicTheGathering #VyrDrawsMtG

Sliver Weftwinder WIP the Weftwinder is the reason i'm doing this: it's an Arena-only card that conjures more slivers into the top 5 cards of your library from a randomized spellbook, so there is no paper version. however, it can be fairly closely emulated by printing a few proxies of the slivers it can conjure and inserting them in your library as needed by the game. and also of course i'll need one for the Weftwinder itself! edit: i have just now realized (since my phone is in dark mode) that i exported the Weftwinder trace as black/transparent instead of black/white 🫥 #MtG #MagicTheGathering #VyrDrawsMtG

Una de las cosas de jugar Magic que veo, es que indirectamente ejercitan la argumentación, el hacerse entender para explicar porque tal regla de tal criatura, la discusión de las reglas, todo eso me parece notable y que solo pasa con los juegos de rol en general. Digan lo que digan del Magic y del juego, hay muchas más cosas que pasan extra juego (como con cualquier juego posiblemente) que lo enriquece. #magic #games #cardgames #cartas #magicthegathering #reglas

I wrote a keyword reference guide to my Magic Battle Box and had to make my own logos and icons to keep it above the line. I was bit sad in the beginning but the more I look at this cover, the more I start to like its campy "similar but legally distinctive" style. It's a shame that the WotC's Fan Content Policy doesn't allow using mana symbols. #MagicTheGathering #MTG

First side project / non employment related coding for a while and it's to make a Magic the Gathering Mulligan generator that handles the card "Serum Powder" in Python. Mainly because that card has such a weird effect that typical mulligan simulators don't handle it. #mtg #magicthegathering
