PSA: you wouldn't think a well-known festival wear vendor would give a shit about plus sizes (especially if you've ever tried to buy festival/club stuff retail or from unvetted online vendors), and yet IHeartRaves actually does, to the point of having plus size models. user report: the clothes are lit.

i ordered one of their bodysuits (Flashbang Matrix) and one of their overalls (Lucid Lava) for a thing in the desert. both fit, which is a genuine surprise to me with bodysuits especially. after a day i noticed the overalls even had a second set of buttons that i've never seen on pants before that were apparently put there to be adjusted to make my hips look even better. the quality's solid, the zippers are smooth (i've got stuff from rando Amazon vendors where that's absolutely not the case, apparently zippers are a common cost cut), the fabric breathes more than i expected.

i'm getting compliments from strangers, i'm honestly floored. i kinda expected i'd be doing this in like… a sports bra and cargo pants, or something else partly unisex and depressing like that. but no, i get to look femme and hot. hence the post midnight PSA before i forget.

just watched three coworkers fail to debug code that was clearly generated by an LLM (no, for real, my manager committed it, and i know he doesn't know React, nor does he use emoji like that).

and by "fail to debug" i mean at no point did they actually open a debugger so they could inspect the state of a running program. they opened Cursor and asked it why something was happening. the answers were not helpful.

when i asked one of them if this was normal procedure on the web teams, he told me that before Cursor, they used a lot of console.log and breakpoints in Chrome dev tools, but with Cursor, they could just ask it in the background and wait.

they did not use the time we spent waiting for Cursor to actually run the program.

y'all this is cosplay. pick up the MacBook and the company branded Cotopaxi vest and show up and the fact that you have the right degree and the right skin color and say the right business words means you get paid.

@raptor85@mastodon.gamedev.place @Moosader@mastodon.gamedev.place Raptor: Call of the Shadows predates DonPachi by a year and that's what i was playing at the time. i'm not saying the mainline Touhous don't have some merit. i spent a few weeks happily failing at beating Mountain of Faith. but wow they are rough. the real strength of the Touhou franchise is the fans, not Zun. they've taken some doodles and sticky-note-sized chunks of plot and spun it out into a Whole Huge Thing and i think that's amazing!
