Acutely aware today that I can't repair the world. But at least I can mend t-shirts. #VisibleMending #repair #mending

Visible mending on a hoodie, replaced the cuffs, covered a hole in the sleeve and some glue stains on the pocket and covered the edges along the zipper that had some threadbare places. 🪡 #crafts #mending #visiblemending #mendingmatters #repair #slowfashion #repairwhatyouwear #sustainability #slowstitching #mendingclothes #stitchdontditch #repareren #kledingreparatie #duurzaam #duurzaamheid #verstellen #craftivism

Ah heck, the nightdress, 'twas borked! The bit under the arm tore quite a bit, so I slapped on a patch of random linen scrap with the edges turned under, whipstitched it on, and applied the bare minimum of quick embroidery to stop the torn bit underneath from wiggling so much. #Mending #VisibleMending #HandSewing

I had a lot of scrap yarn to use up and a disintegrating hoodie and things got a bit out of hand. #crochet #visiblemending

Remember me asking about visibke mending for a L-tear in my linen pants? I combined the recs I got here with some crafts I already knew how to do (cross stitch) for a 🌻-result that makes me very happy today. Let's see how well it will hold!
