Have made a tiny weird pincushion! Or mostly at least, am going to attempt to put some beads on it because I have a lot of them. It's just some quilt leftover pieces, one side backed with a coutil scrap to keep needles from poking through, and the other with scrap linen to make the flimsy cotton less flimsy. The stitch I used was... fine but not optimal. 😅 I'd do it different next time, it's so bulky! Ah. #Sewing #HandSewing

Ah heck, the nightdress, 'twas borked! The bit under the arm tore quite a bit, so I slapped on a patch of random linen scrap with the edges turned under, whipstitched it on, and applied the bare minimum of quick embroidery to stop the torn bit underneath from wiggling so much. #Mending #VisibleMending #HandSewing

For morale reasons, please admire these sleeves that I intensively pattern matched when I made this 1780s or so Redingote. It was slow but relatively easy and very very satisfying because I did all of it by hand!
