Them: What do you do for fun? Me: Stab my hand. Them: ... Me: Some people say 'embroidery' but I wouldn't go that far at my current skill level. #sashiko #visiblerepair

In a heated Torvalds AI code review clash, the Linux creator tells opponents of the Sashiko bot to fork the kernel or leave the project. #Linux #Torvalds #AI #Sashiko #OpenSource #KernelDevelopment https://securityexpress.info/torvalds-ai-code-review/?utm_source=mastodon&utm_medium=jetpack_social

Two finished projects today. A cool Sashiko cushion cover is finished, I started this when I started going to craft group and have only stitched it there, feels appropriate to finish it as the group ends for summer. A proper finish on a cross stitch, that hoop is now definitely decorative, I just need to attach a bit of ribbon and I can hang it up. #Sashiko #CrossStitch #Craft

Who knew that post op recovery time would lead to working on more projects than I can possibly complete in the time I have! LOL Have just added repairing/modifying the sashiko cushion from a kit I bought at a craft fair at Alexandra Palace sometime early 2000's for my Mum, which I promptly received back once it was complete. I currently know nothing about quilting, patchwork or sashiko, and will be doing this without a sewing machine, but I don't want to lose the cushion cover, so this will be interesting. Add this on top of sketches I already have in progress, writing, a planned distro change on the laptop, crochet, and some polymer clay ideas floating around, I think I need at least 6 months. And that's ignoring how many other WIP's I have in progress. #Sashiko #Quilting #TeaRamblings
