@VogueLaGalere@mastodon.online In Iraq, we tried mostly to use local companies, because building Iraqi capacity was one of our major objectives. Early on, though, Brown and Root did a lot of the heavy lifting while that capacity got rebuilt without the Saddam ties. This time around, I'm sure there will be little regard for building Iranian capacity & infrastructure. The #TrumpCrimeFamily ITSELF was heavily involved in construction--and it could bear watching whether they use some of their recent #craptocurrency haul to buy out any companies with more experience doing that overseas & in conflict zones, or hand it to buddies like the reflecting pool job...or just take it themselves as part of the grift.
