I know not everyone can be a plumber or electrician or welder, but those jobs will outlive whatever computer bullshit we're doing now. And the current wave of trades workers are retiring faster than they can be replaced. Unlike the "talent shortage" bullshit touted in IT and INFOSEC.

As someone who has never been to Hacker Summer Camp because fuck the desert, especially in August, it's been interesting to see the takeaways change over the years. It used to be 0day and new techniques and cool projects. Now it's marketing and where to find Gatorade and which insoles are the best for back pain. I don't have a point, just an observation.
