Came home yesterday to find my partner fuming that someone had been whipping up a campaign against an old pub being converted into a mosque by putting a glossy leaflet through door. He usually leaves the fuming to me…but this time it had inspired him to put in writing his support of the planned mosque to the planning department. We are not even in the same postcode as this pub. And unsurprisingly the rightwing #Reform supporting local rags that are the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News (both Archant) have zero reporting on #Norwich #Pride today, despite the huge turnout that filled the city centre. Local news is dead to anyone on the Left.

Just checked out #Reform’s Trumpian website for determining whether you live in a #Green leaning constituency and if Reform get elected at next general election indicates if they’ll put an asylum hotel there… Yup it’s the work of fascist bullies…but it’s been very poorly thought out. #Norwich South is apparently ‘protected’ by Reform?! https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/may/04/more-unbridled-nastiness-reform-would-it-really-create-migrant-detention-centres-green-voting-areas
