The "main boss" of this poll is github! So #gmail and #github are the 2 toughest accounts to ever close. Interesting.

Używacie Obtainium na GrapheneOS z włączonym Mullvadem lub innym VPN i ciągle wyskakuje wam błąd "Too Many Requests"? Taki pusty token wklejacie w ustawieniach dostawców w Obtainium. Wasz limit skacze z 60 do 5000 zapytań na godzinę i aktualizacje z powrotem śmigają bez zająknięcia. #grapheneos #obtainium #vpn #github #foss

🔑 Still storing client secrets in your CI/CD pipelines? There’s a better way.

@powers-hell.com@bsky.brid.gy demonstrates how Workload Identity Federation enables #Azure #DevOps and #GitHub Actions to access Azure resources without passwords, secrets, or certificates.

It worries me that many developer tools only support #GitHub and not other repository providers. We need more diversity of repository providers (forges) and the tools should support us using them. While I agree that with limited resources you might focus on the largest provider first, others should at least be on your roadmap.

Sometimes I’ll go through my old saved git repos… People really want to keep “thefuck” alive even though it’s been dead for 2 years. Around 4000 forks..damn. https://github.com/nvbn/thefuck/issues Luckily people make their own rewrites. Although many of which have readmes filled with emojis, which turn me off….its like seeing Sysco outside of the restaurant your about to enter. #github #git #cli #linux #ai

#npm: A massive #SupplyChain attack has compromised 868+ npm packages carrying 2 billion+ monthly installs with a credential-stealing worm. It started with the compromise of the #GitHub account of the #keyv library with 127 million+ weekly downloads: 👇 https://www.aikido.dev/blog/keyv-and-friends-compromised-in-npm-supply-chain-attack

BREAKING Someone on X selling 'Github Source code for $65.000' . Yeah, I do not know the legitimacy, or either the post author joking (it is only their only tweet, so I think they are 'not joking'). #cybersecurity #infosec #github #leak

New from Cloudflare: "We're introducing @cloudflare/computer, an agent runtime that dynamically orchestrates between fast, efficient isolates and full Linux containers to give every agent a computer of its own." "The central piece of @cloudflare/computer is the workspace. A virtual filesystem backed by SQLite that can be populated from various sources including cloud storage and source control." Since I picked up programming at 8yo with BASIC, I've been a bit of a language polyglot. Over the years I've coded in C, Python, Perl, Shell, more flavors of Assembly than I care to admit, occasionally C++, Go, Java and JavaScript, and heck, even PowerShell. Then a couple of years ago I started taking #Rust seriously, and I basically haven't touched anything else since. Anyway, here's where that obsession led. This summer's #GitHub tour, part two: My vulnerability-hunting toolkit built on idalib-rs 🦀 named with more classical flair than strictly necessary
https://github.com/0xdea/rhabdomancer - finds calls to sketchy API functions in a binary
https://github.com/0xdea/haruspex - rips pseudocode straight out of the @Hex-Rays decompiler
https://github.com/0xdea/augur - pulls strings and related pseudocode from a binary Accompanying article (expect an update soon): https://hnsecurity.it/blog/streamlining-vulnerability-research-with-the-idalib-rust-bindings-for-ida-9-2/ So much for being a polyglot 🤷
