So my engineer (who is my problem child), admitted today that he can only work in #azure environments, and refuses to work in #aws and #gcp environments. Because he doesnt understand them, how they work, or how to build stuff in them. Despite his constant use of #claude to build #IaC #terragrunt. So console and env awareness shouldnt matter right? #Devops #Cloudops #Revops #FinOps #WhatTheFuckEverOps As everyone can guess (I am the at the bottom of the list in the pic).

Just like Microsoft's cloud vulns, even though there is no action required for the customers, pushing for CVEs for cloud vulns is nice for the cloud nerds to see just how continuously vulnerable the systems are that they are using. https://docs.cloud.google.com/support/bulletins#gcp-2026-047 A Missing Authorization vulnerability in the repository creation functionality in Google Cloud BigQuery, Dataform and Colab Enterprise, in the versions between October 2025 and May 10th, 2026, on Google Cloud Platform, allows an authenticated attacker to escalate privileges and perform cross-tenant repository takeover.

Well shit. I am just buried in #GCP bullshit today. how do you mass tag a full GCP instance that has NEVER been tagged (outside of just building a tagger in #python to do the work from a csv). I so dislike GCP....I really do.

AWS Middle East Central data centres have been attacked. This is a good reminder that the cloud is just someone else's computer. And maybe it doesn't make sense to rely on cloud providers to store your photos, backups, emails, etc, if those cloud providers are now legitimate military targets. Google Photos is now on the front lines 😬 #AWS #GCP #Azure #Gmail
