The jaw you've clenched since November has a plant that answers it.
Bruise a scant teaspoon of culinary lavender between your fingers and steep it three minutes — no longer, or it turns to soap — in warm milk before bed. Lus na tùise, the herb of fragrance. The calm isn't folklore; it's linalool, easing the nervous system down off the ledge.

In early 2023, I took 2 cuttings from a rose plant at Jubilee Hospital gardens. I propagated the cuttings in our front yard. I grew them for my parents. Dad passed away before any of the cuttings propagated had matured enough to bloom. This year, it's blooming a lot. This is one of the roses from that propagation.
