Spent today re-organizing my workspaces. I have some things I want to give away to the local ReCreate craft supplies shop, and a few things not worth donating. But overall, I just needed things to be in logical and accessible places, not based on size (as before) but based on frequency of need. I think it will work much better now.

What AI Slop proponents get wrong is that Art is not a thing in itself.

Art, Music, Crafts, even householding and gardening, each have their meaning and fulfillment and their spirit from the process, the act of creating it.

If a machine hallucinates it, it's not art. It's art-like vomit from an heartless, soulless, ignorant machine that cannot endow it with any spirit or any meaning.

I just found out that GoDaddy apparently whacked up pretty much every one of the links, and many of the descriptions, in my Gallery on my webpage.

I just spent HOURS fixing it all (hopefully).

If you have GoDaddy, you should check your site. I think they may have used some AISlop on it.

This latest beta test has had so many problems. I got a mold for some very cute fairy doors. They did work with plaster, yay!

But there were no solid back shadow boxes at the store, so I took one with slats... This led to a cascading set of issues.

Then I made a bad decision on the background image, which made things worse, lol.

Stay tuned for the finished beta test. I think it will look ok but don't know if I'll do that one again.

It's too wet & stormy to work in the garden today...

So I'm finishing up a couple of the stela design figurines that I had cast with some embedded beads & old jewelry.

One I've dubbed "Abundance" is nearing completion, and my beta test for Brighid of Scotland is...trying to manifest.

Putting my dad's family tartan as part of the design is going to be challenging.

@Nagaram@hachyderm.io Right now I just need to get some windows software to work (for my day job) on my new linux laptop. I've been experimenting with my personal desktop but its not working. Longer term I'd like to host a server with a peertube (? or whatever) that I can make audio and video files available and also have zoom-type (not sure what the non-surveillance alternative is...) gatherings. I'd love it if my pen tablet worked with the linux desktop, too. 🤷‍♀️

@BPStuart I think they knew and didn't care. Let me clarify - they knew their takeover would be this way, and didn't care. All they're going to get is a ruined planet and crashed economy. That hateful, bloodthirsty demon they worship is not going to fix everything later or save them. It's laughing hysterically at them. They won't be spared the effects of their actions. That's not how anything works.
