I wish we had an advanced/realistic vehicle simulator. I always had plans and dreams but I couldn't make them real because they are too hard. I also had to learn about tech more first, like learning what is libre software etc. Anyway, like realism should be our priority, sim should be coming with FPV only (first person view). No other views should be allowed. Simulation should simulate human's senses like hot/cold temperature, making very hard brake should move camera, driving bad should move the camera, or flooring the gas pedal etc. We should be able to click stuff inside the vehicle just like flight sims. Sim must be compatible with PlayStation controllers as they are the best imo. 3D surround sound with headphones would be great. Simulator should be libre too. If we put support for maps/mods, the sim will get larger by community support. Having AI traffic would be amazing too. Driving simulators helped me A LOT with passing my driving exam. #gamedevelopment #game #gaming #gayming #development #gamedeveloper #3D #simulator #simulation #drivingsim #drivingsimulator #drivingsimulators #LibreSoftware #FOSS #FLOSS #OpenSource #freegames #godot #godotengine #freecad #cad #driving #car #cars #vehicle #vehicles #vehiclesimulator

#Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited has donated a retired double-decker to Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers Wong Cho Bau School under its bus donation scheme, supporting STEAM and wellbeing education in #HongKong. The vehicle has been converted into “Beidou Hub”, a multi-purpose learning space launched at the school’s 25th anniversary. Designed around deep space exploration, it features a digital #science lab with holographic simulation for primary science experiments, a counselling corner, a flight #simulator and VR zones covering topics such as the water cycle and typhoons. The principal said the relaxed setting eases pressure and encourages immersive learning. Students described lessons as more engaging and inspiring. Since 2016, KMB’s scheme has benefited 44 organisations, promoting reuse and sustainability. https://kmb.hk/news_detail.html?id=1366&year=2026
