Cannot get my head around transform.basis rotations. As always, language is a barrier. What is a "basis"? What grounding does it have? Is there any meaning? I used to be quite good at maths, but never enjoyed matrices. Does anyone have a selection of resources for how to understand? #godot #gamedev #maths

Is #Godot navigation intended to work on moving bodies? Docs say it is but I put a navigation region on top of a ship for sailor npcs to walk it and it doesn't work. Does anyone know more about it? #Help #GodotEngine

🐿️big discussion about Godot's current survey because it asks about AI and, two things:

  1. The responses from the survey can be used to make a nice chart that says "Nobody wants AI, here's the numbers on that"
  2. the executive director of the Godot foundation confirms there's no plans for AI #godot

In this #artfight attack on @SuddenDraftArt@macrofurs.social I kind of wanted to practice a lot of stuff in #godot to create a fun little animation. It... Went a little overboard. xD Normal maps, tweens, secondary "wiggly" bones, bone animation and glows, randomized timers oh my. It was fun to do, tho! :D #macrofurry
