@urlyman@mastodon.social if we want to survive, we have pretty quickly (within at most 5 years) switch to

  1. Stop burning #FossilFuels altogether;
  2. Build some new clean generating capacity;
  3. Build some new clean materials processing capacity;
  4. Invest in #Organic low input agriculture;
  5. Invest in efficient transport infrastructure to distribute food;
  6. Use an absolute minimum of power or structural materials for anything else at all;
  7. Fight no wars at all.

#Organic Plenish #AlmondMilk seems to have suffered #shrinkflation Our auction-bought (and still good) milk from 2024 has 6% #almond content. Yesterday I looked at the same product in a local supermarket, only has 4%! Cheeky bastards....

I don't know whether to be impressed or annoyed. This bramble has made its way through 2 layers of cardboard and 30cms of mulch. It's almost stopped the convolvulus/hedge bindweed but not this bramble. I have a helpful neighbour who swears by glyphosate and I'm trying to keep him at bay until the weather is cool enough to get out there and do a bit of key hole surgery. #gardening #weeds #nodig #organic

Just imagine eating #organicfoods straight from your own garden. Today, I tasted our own potatoes, and honestly they were so delicious. They are not fully ready for harvest yet, but at least no one in the @econetwork@mas.to group can sleep hungry. We have a place to learn grow and always find something to eat.
