Has anyone been to an event at Co-op Live or the Etihad Campus in Manchester recently? I'm trying to work out if the walking route from the city centre is open for events as we went to try it yesterday on a day when there no events, and it was barricaded off, with no obvious way of entry around the building works around the stadium. A trip to a “new to me” hospital can be turned into an adventure by going by train(s) plus walking and seeing new places. I loved these three buildings. Two were clearly old cinemas or theatres but it brings me such joy to see them preserved long after their original purposes had faded. #manchester #urmston #architecture

The #GreaterManchester Mayoral election votes will be counted today. It looks like an easy win for the #LabourParty's #BevCraig. That's a big reversal of the #ReformUK win expected 6 ,months ago when Labour blocked Burnham's return as MP. But there is a v depressing part of this poll. It shows 100% of Conservative voters giving their second preference to Reform. That's the result I'll be watching.
