I recently switched to subcutaneous injection after doing intramuscular for almost 2 years. I just did my first subq shot today, actually. when I pull the needle out, is there supposed to be so much coming out through the puncture? or did I go at too shallow of an angle? or some other way of messing up? the carrier oil is MCT rather than caster so it's a bit thinner, if that matters at all. 27G ½ inch needle, also. #trans #transgender #FediHelp #HRT #DIYHRT

Being lesbian is hard. Being trans makes it even harder. I think I'm not even bisexual, I'm just lesbian in denial. Because since my childhood I always hated being in a male body, I disliked men, and I was always into females until testosterone kicked in. I have zero interest in men I guess. If they don't exist in your country then get them via DIY HRT. DIY HRT community on Lemmy, and #diyhrt hashtag on Mastodon will help you. 4) Am I passing? https://troontraits.web.app 5) I'm not safe! If you're under 18, ask for help from social services. You're allowed to fake the situation too, starting HRT before 18 is very important. Do whatever it takes but just do it! If it's your country that sucks, then contact here @trans_rescue@mastodon.social You're allowed to manipulate a therapist to get yourself out of your shitty home if you're going for social services path. You have one life, and don't ruin it for people who don't care about you. Life is cruel, and it doesn't forgive mistakes. 6) Any other advice? Stick to libre software, and encrypted software. Stay away from mainstream if possible. Dig deep everyday. Learning never stops! I would personally make my transition permanent by getting orchiectomy or whatever you have. Also updating your ID and documents will help too. As a trans person, your only friends are other trans people even if you're cis-passing. Feminising GAHT injection - EUn - 3rd (and final) loading dose Hover or focus to reveal Sensitive

Tonight was our 3rd injection of EUn (estradiol undecylate), and the final weekly loading dose before we switch to fortnightly maintenance ones. We did 12 mg intramuscularly into the vastus lateralis in our right thigh, using our Union Medico 90° "Super Grip" auto-stabber. Painless and easy injection tonight. Maybe too easy? 🤭 Anyways. Next injection will be in a fortnight. It'll be weird to not do one next Friday, but that was one of the key draws of switching to EUn

Damn, testosterone was extremely powerful BTW. Fuck the gender/sex, just focus on science part. It's like shell premium fuel. Testosterone makes you ugly but shit is insane. I remember at age 18, I raced with my friends while running and I passed all of them, and they were even shocked how come I was too fast. (That amount of strength was normal to me so I ignored it, mostly my female classmates told me this.) I was able to do push-ups non-stop for 50 times. I was doing pull-ups 20 times non-stop sometimes even more. Damn, right now I'm on HRT for 3,5 years and also post-orchi for 1,5 month and whenever I remember these times, I'm being like "wow I was seriously insanely strong" like running or other stuff beside, going for a walk even hurts my legs now. I'm also depressed all the time, and I rarely go outside so this is also a factor but still... I had to transition because dysphoria was killing me but switching from T to E+P is an obvious biological downgrade. I'm jealous of cis men. OTOH, I wasn't even able to read a sentence when I was on T. Now I can read paragraphs without getting bored. I wish I had an orchiectomy earlier. Anti-androgens fucked me sideways, and I am just realizing this after stopping them. Bicalutamide was even horrible even though it was better than others. I feel bad for trans kids who are not allowed to have orchiectomy... Your thighs get wider with HRT, and this will cause discomfort if you have testicles. This will also affect the way you're walking which means you will get clocked. I didn't even need painkillers at all like I took them on the first day only. I am mentally fucked already, and I think anti androgens made them worse. Feminising GAHT injection - EUn - 2nd loading dose Hover or focus to reveal Sensitive

We had considered not doing these posts, where it's now public that the Cult of Shiv server will shut down at the end of October, but meh: maybe these posts'll help somebody between now and then. Today was our 2nd injection of EUn (estradiol undecylate). (1st post here.) Today's injection was 12 mg of EUn intramuscularly into the vastus lateralis in our left thigh, using a Union Medico 90° "Super Grip" auto-stabber. Zero issues with the injection. Little bit of blood when pulling the needle out, but that's partly because we lost a little grip on the Z-track (hand grip issues FTL) 😅 It was only a week after the 1st one, where we're doing 3 lots of weekly loading doses at the intended maintenance dose but half the injection frequency, rather than a single loading dose of about 2 to 3 times the maintenance amount.
