Feminising GAHT injection - EUn - 3rd (and final) loading dose Hover or focus to reveal Sensitive

Tonight was our 3rd injection of EUn (estradiol undecylate), and the final weekly loading dose before we switch to fortnightly maintenance ones. We did 12 mg intramuscularly into the vastus lateralis in our right thigh, using our Union Medico 90° "Super Grip" auto-stabber. Painless and easy injection tonight. Maybe too easy? 🤭 Anyways. Next injection will be in a fortnight. It'll be weird to not do one next Friday, but that was one of the key draws of switching to EUn

Feminising GAHT injection - EUn - 2nd loading dose Hover or focus to reveal Sensitive

We had considered not doing these posts, where it's now public that the Cult of Shiv server will shut down at the end of October, but meh: maybe these posts'll help somebody between now and then. Today was our 2nd injection of EUn (estradiol undecylate). (1st post here.) Today's injection was 12 mg of EUn intramuscularly into the vastus lateralis in our left thigh, using a Union Medico 90° "Super Grip" auto-stabber. Zero issues with the injection. Little bit of blood when pulling the needle out, but that's partly because we lost a little grip on the Z-track (hand grip issues FTL) 😅 It was only a week after the 1st one, where we're doing 3 lots of weekly loading doses at the intended maintenance dose but half the injection frequency, rather than a single loading dose of about 2 to 3 times the maintenance amount. Simulation of switching over from EEn to EUn Hover or focus to reveal Sensitive

Okay. So, there are 3 main estradiol level simulators that we find useful for different reasons. Trans Fem Science.Estrannaise.Grey Oasis Trans Fem Science's one is the OG. It's fairly simple to use, but lacks the features available in others. We used to find that it vastly overestimated levels, but we've recently-ish discovered that many different things can raise estradiol sensitivity overall, or your level on a blood test on a given day, so we're more forgiving of it now. Estrannaise is more advanced, and fairly simple (ish) to use, once you've got the hang out of it. It's particularly helpful for calculating ramping up and/or switching from one ester to another. However, its level estimations for undecylate are very low and seemingly very out of touch with other simulators, making it difficult to recommend for calculating ramping up or determining doses. Grey Oasis is based off the Trans Fem Science simulator, but gives you the ability to calculate ramping up or switching esters, albeit in a non-user-friendly way. It also looks like the creator hasn't touched their website for a couple of years, so there's always a chance it may just disappear one day. If you want to simulate a switchover from one ester to undecylate on Grey Oasis, we recommend getting it to simulate a ramp up on your current ester, followed by the same on the other. For example, this will simulate a switchover from EEn (4 mg weekly) to EUn (12 mg fortnightly): 0/6/EEn, 7/4/EEn, 14/4/EEn, 21/4/EEn, 28/4/EEn, 35/4/EEn, 42/12/EUn, 49/12/EUn, 56/12/EUn, 70/12/EUn, 84/12/EUn, 98/12/EUn, 112/12/EUn, 126/12/EUn, 140/12/EUn, 154/12/EUn, 168/12/EUn, 182/12/EUn, 196/12/EUn, 210/12/EUn, 224/12/EUn, 238/12/EUn, 252/12/EUn, 266/12/EUn, 280/12/EUn The same entries give a vastly-different simulated result in Estrannaise. (We've added the stable dose line for comparison.) From what we've been advised from others within the homebrew community who have more experience with EUn, there are a couple of big reasons for discrepancies: There's not much underlying data for EUn, and the data available is old.The carrier oil has a major impact with EUn, changing the effective elimination half-life (t=½).~21 days in MCT oil.~34 days in castor oil. DIY HRT resources for transmasculine people (first draft, polite suggestions welcome) Hover or focus to reveal Sensitive

DIY HRT is less accessible for transmasculine people due to testosterone being a controlled substance in many places. You may need to get your hands dirty and obtain it outside standard medical channels. For injection, the options are slow-release testosterone undecanoate every 8 - 10 weeks (also known as testosterone bessins or Nebido), testosteron enanthate, and testosterone cypionate, best administered weekly. Testosterone gel also exists; it's not something I have experience with, but it is the easiest to make from powder. Online resources for using DIY testosterone I've seen people complain about a lack of clear information on dosing for DIY T. It's easy to learn from training documents for medical practitioners and DIY guides. For much more detail on dosing T, you want resources aimed at medical practitioners. Their calculations for dosing at different concentrations can be particularly helpful if you're obtaining T from resources aimed at bodybuilders, as most trans guys will want to be on lower dosages than those used for muscular hypertrophy. Self-injection Intramuscular injection is ideal. If you're using testosterone undecanoate, you could easily be injecting 4ml at a time, so do yourself a favour and divide it between two muscles. Here's an excellent how-to video for IM thigh injections: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RInnhgYwal4 You can buy injection supplies in most places from Amazon or Aliexpress, or - for a wider variety of good quality equipment (although you may have to wait longer while they source it) - specialists such as www.medical-hygiene.com I use 2ml or 3ml syringes with at 25G 13mm (orange from most brands) needle. You may need longer tips if you have a larger body. When it comes to sharps disposable, to avoid awkward conversations at pharmacies, you may wish to use needle exchange services, which provide non-judgemental access to clean injecting equipment and safe sharps disposal for anyone who injects anything for any reason. This applies in France, and I believe in the UK and most other EU countries - I'd appreciate feedback from people with experience of doing this in different parts of the world. In France, this will cost around 40€ for the testosterone and estradiol level tests. Ideally, get tested six weeks after changing dosage, and three or four times a year once at a stable dose. Tests should be taken close before your dose, to test the minimal T levels in your system. You're looking for total T levels of between 10.5 and 40 nmol/L, while estradiol should be 200pmol/L or less. Obtaining Testosterone In a lot of places, you would have to be comfortable with breaking the law. Of course, doing these things isn't illegal in places where T isn't controlled. For the purposes of this mini guide, I will assume that you live in Bulgaria, where you are allowed to buy anabolic steroids. Phone a friend: In much of Europe, prescription T enanthate is supplied in single-use snap-top glass vials that contain more than most trans guys will need, and many would be happy to share. Since we've been asked about EUn a few times(including by someone w/ an email we can't reply to): Future plans include Undecylate injections, but we're focusing on getting our EEn right for now.
