Since a while, we have a lent screen printing machine in the lab and one of our members is currently doing a lot of experiments with it.

Free Lathe looking for a good home!

Do your hackerspace (or you) want a lathe? I am moving soon, and I don’t think I will be able to take it with me, so I want to find my Paulimot PM3800 a new home.
It weighs around 300kg, + 50 for the base, 6 speed spindle gearbox, power feed in both axis, change gears for threading, all still there. Comes with a 3 jaw and a 4 jaw, which needs a mounting plate tho, set of indexable turning tools with inserts, live and dead center, 2 ER32 tail stock drill holders with a full collet set.
Bought it new around 2020, probably less than 200 hours on it, protected from grinding dust so should be in decent condition.
Also bar stock in steel, aluminium, brass and bronze.
Optionally if you want to tinker: A VFD, Masso CNC controller, and 2 300w servo motors.
There is an engine hoist for lifting it off the base, and into a car or trailer, you do need to get it up a steep ramp for about a meter, but there is a hardpoint at the top for setting up rope and pulley or similar. I guess a few very strong people could also just lift it up the few steps.
I would like to get it out of here quickly, ideally this weekend or early next week, if possible.
