#degoogled

It's almost a year since I joined HMD, and later to HMD Secure. During this time, because we are working with #deGoogled devices, I came to see very sketchy moves by Google in limiting significantly what you experience with a deGoogled device. #Murena e/OS is a great example of what you can achieve when you say no and go against the stream together. It's great to know we are not alone, on a raft and we paddle against the waves of shenanigans Google pushes towards us. It is defiance, it is persistence, it is giving people an option where privacy matters the most.

Volla / VollaOS

First I've heard of this. Apparently it's a deGoggled Android/Linux. Anyone know how good they are on respecting their customers' Software Freedoms and Right to Repair?

Well, it looks like #MobilePay reverted to check Play Integrity again. #Europe does not have a chance at Digital Sovereignty if all Android phones must be #Google #Certified and businesses keep the only option of #Play #Integrity. #Unified #Attestation is the alternative for non Google devices (#Jolla, #Volla, #deGoogled Android) but unless this is mandated by @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu, this means all banking and financial services will be monitored, gated and blocked if needed on a whim.

#Degoogled Photos? Yes, it's possible. ✅🏞️ The Big Tech does not need to scan & have access to your pictures & videos 👉 use a Google Photos alternative instead. Find out which open source photo storage we'd recommend: https://tuta.com/blog/google-photos-alternative #GooglePhotos #DeGoogle

#grapheneos #degoogled #dutgemacht
