I just discovered that to resign in #Italy, if you've got young children, you must attend to an interview with an italian #work agency (called Ispettorato Nazionale del Lavoro)... on #MicrosoftTeams . WTF?!? How, exactly, a relationshib between an #italian #citizen and an italian agency is mediated by a #multinational company tied to the most powerful government in the world? Also, one that didn't prove very savy, lately...

I want to make it clear: opposing #fascism is not political. It is not a #Conservative thing, it is not a #Liberal or #Progressive thing.
It is a #democracy thing. It is a #citizen, a #community thing.
Because a #fascist government is effectively indistinguishable from feudalism. There are a few nobles, and everyone else is a #slave. We have been here before.
It is not good for anyone. There isn't a 1%. There are a couple dozen individuals, maybe.
Being #antifascist is being #human.

It tells them that even if they effectively execute a #US #citizen who presents no threat on camera on a public street, they will face no consequences—a recipe for future tragedies. The state’s interest in finding a way to at least create some deterrence to deadly federal lawlessness is not just a matter of #justice: It is also a way of keeping its people safe moving forward.
