I use just two User accounts on my Graphene OS Pixal 9. When I need to move a file or a passcode from on account to another, Inter Profile Sharing App. It's super handy to have this tool too move files or notes from one User account to another. It's found in the Accrescent App Store. but with the update to Android 17... things stopped working, the loophole to do this was cut. This is the link to the debugging fix. Eww - I disabled password on my AP and #android17 happily autoconnects to it without a word, despite having saved old password. I believe it will complain when BSSID of AP changes... For sure... Don't dare to test it...

A czy Wy już zrobiliście porządki z nowym uprawnieniem Nearby Devices w GrapheneOS po aktualizacji do Androida 17?

Google wrzuciło tam dostęp do sieci lokalnej (LAN), przez co system domyślnie dał zielone światło masie aplikacji w trybie kompatybilności wstecznej (status: Allowed to keep app working).

Zasada zero trust jest prosta: wycinamy wszystko prócz systemowego telefonu i ustawień. Reszta (w tym komunikatory, banki czy pogodynki) na Don't allow. Słuchawki BT i tak działają bez zmian, a telefon nie skanuje otoczenia.

Jak tam Wasze listy uprawnień? Przejrzane? 😉

Auf einem Pixel-Testgerät mit Android 17 scheint sich das Verhalten der getrennten WLAN- und Mobilfunk-Kacheln geändert zu haben: Ein Tipp auf »WLAN« deaktiviert WLAN offenbar nicht mehr wirklich, sondern lässt es in den Einstellungen weiterhin aktiv. Falls das kein Bug ist, wäre das ziemlich nervig, weil man WLAN dann umständlich über die Einstellungen abschalten müsste. Mal sehen, was GrapheneOS daraus macht beziehungsweise ob das Verhalten dort übernommen wird. #Android17 #Pixel #GrapheneOS #WLAN
