PSA: if you're on Win10, and can't/don't want to switch to Linux, in the vast majority of cases, you don't need to buy new hardware to run Win11. I'm seeing some artificial FUD again and people throwing out working PCs.
I'm not telling you that you should be using Win11, but you have the choice that Microsoft pretends you don't.

The monadic methods of std::expected are so cool, that it's actually easier and cleaner to manually write the error-checking if/else yourself.
