"The teens allegedly were drinking alcohol and shooting Orbeez beads as they rode in the driverless car." So a Waymo representative called the cop but also LOCKED THE 15-YEAR OLD IN THE CAR SO THEY COULDN'T GET OUT. And lied to them claiming the vehicle was "experiencing mechanical issues." #Waymo is so far refusing to answer questions regarding their kidnapping of two misbehaving teenagers and turning them over to police. Waymo has not as far as I know explained how they were alerted to the behavior, or how police became involved. Police officials are contradicting earlier reports from various media that the teens were locked in the vehicle. However, many reports are that the teens were lied to by Waymo and told there was a "maintenance issue" and then taken to a parking lot and stopped. They were apparently not informed that police were called, as Waymo was at this point obviously acting as an agent of law enforcement. At last report I've seen the teens have not been charged. Would a human cab driver have taken this kidnapping/lying approach? I would think it unlikely. We need to ask #Alphabet/Google CEO Sundar how far he'd go to satisfy the Trump administration in terms of Waymo-enabled kidnapping.

HORRIFIC: Waymo robotaxi kidnaps and imprisons teenagers This story is much worse than I realized. Those drinking teenagers who were shooting Orbeez from a Waymo were not just reported to the police, Google/Alphabet literally kidnapped them, locking them helplessly in the vehicle, until police arrived. This is a scenario I predicted years ago, robocars kidnapping passengers and taking them against their will to "authorities". Imagine what Trump's DOJ would do with this power. Despite the fact that these teens were engaging in low level misbehavior, Google/Alphabet is NOT supposed to be an arresting agent of the government. What if one of those teens had suffered a medical emergency locked in that vehicle?
