La premier ha visitato tre paesi in poco più di 24 ore, per una missione sì politica ma anche dal risvolto economico. “Quando nel Golfo cresce l’instabilità ne risentono anche i costi dell’energia – spiega la premier nel video – le imprese, il lavoro e in ultima istanza il potere di acquisto delle famiglie. Il Golfo è attore fondamentale del mercato energetico mondiale e se qui la produzione si contrae o si ferma il prezzo aumenta per tutti e se peggiora si può arrivare a non avere tutta l’energia necessaria, anche in Italia“. “Il solo Qatar copre il 10% del fabbisogno italiano di gas e l’area del golfo garantisce il 15% del totale del petrolio che ci serve – prosegue ancora – Per questo sono qui”. E conclude: “In un momento come questo, in un Mondo più instabile, proteggere l’interesse nazionale significa anche e soprattutto costruire relazioni solide con partner affidabili nei luoghi che incidono davvero sulla nostra sicurezza ed economia”. Meloni dopo la prima tappa in Arabia Saudita ha fatto scalo prima in Qatar, poi negli Emirati Arabi Uniti. Agi: La mappa dei 94mila italiani in Medio Oriente AGI - Sono circa 94.800 gli italiani in Medio Oriente e nel Golfo Persico, di cui 9.400 turisti in Bahrein, Qatar, Emirati Arabi Uniti e Oman. Lo ha reso la Farnesina nel fornire un quadro preciso della presenza dei connazionali nella regione. All'indomani dello scoppio del conflitto tra Usa e Iran, il ministero degli Esteri ha istituito la Task Force Golfo, che ha raddoppiato la capacità di risposta dell'Unità di Crisi, cui gli italiani che stanno cercando di rientrare possono rivolgersi per chiedere aiuto e che ha già ricevuto 13.500 chiamate, una media di 200 l'ora. Per quanto riguarda il solo Golfo, 7.024 italiani si trovano negli Emirati Arabi Uniti, 1.256 in Oman, 1.009 in Qatar e 111 in Bahrein. A oggi, sono circa 2.500 i connazionali rientrati in Italia da Abu Dhabi, Riad e Muscat con l'assistenza della Farnesina. Questa mattina sono decollati da Muscat due voli diretti a Roma, con a bordo 249 persone. Prevenire ricadute su rincari e occupazione” "Destano forte preoccupazione le possibili ricadute economiche e sociali dell'attacco congiunto condotto da Israele e Stati Uniti contro l'Iran. In un contesto geopolitico già fortemente instabile è indispensabile adottare misure preventive per tutelare famiglie, lavoratori e sistema produttivo dalle conseguenze che potrebbero derivare da un eventuale prolungamento del conflitto. Le tensioni nell'area del Golfo stanno già generando forti oscillazioni nei mercati energetici, con il rischio di rialzi significativi dei prezzi legati alla sicurezza delle rotte marittime e, in particolare, alla situazione dello Stretto di Hormuz, snodo essenziale per l'approvvigionamento globale di petrolio e gas. Un eventuale blocco prolungato o anche solo un rallentamento dei traffici energetici avrebbe conseguenze rilevanti sui costi dell'energia, sull'inflazione e sulla competitività delle imprese, con effetti che potrebbero riflettersi sull'occupazione e sul potere d'acquisto dei lavoratori. Per queste ragioni riteniamo necessario muoversi con tempestività sul piano interno. Auspichiamo la convocazione di un tavolo di confronto tra Governo e parti sociali per monitorare l'evoluzione della crisi, valutare misure di contenimento dei costi energetici e predisporre strumenti di tutela a favore dei settori produttivi e dei lavoratori maggiormente esposti. In una fase così delicata, la priorità deve essere la salvaguardia della stabilità economica e sociale del Paese, attraverso un'azione preventiva e condivisa.” Lo ha dichiarato Paolo Capone, Segretario Generale UGL, in merito alle possibili ricadute economiche della crisi in Medio Oriente. For these reasons, we believe it is necessary to act promptly on the internal front. We hope for the convening of a table for discussion between the Government and social partners to monitor the evolution of the crisis, evaluate measures to contain energy costs, and prepare tools to support productive sectors and workers most exposed. Guido Crosetto, lasciando la Commissione esteri e Difesa di Camera e Senato riunite per riferire, assieme al ministro degli Esteri Antonio Tajani, sulla situazione in Iran e nel Golfo Persico, affronta le domande dei cronisti sul fatto che durante l’attacco di Stati Uniti ed Israele all’Iran il titolare della Difesa del governo Meloni fosse rimasto bloccato a Dubai. “Un breve periodo di ferie”, all’interno del quale ha fissato alcuni “appuntamenti istituzionali”. Senza scorta e all’insaputa di altri membri del governo italiano. Ma si spazientisce e va via domandando polemicamente: “Io ho detto che l’Italia fosse attaccata sarebbe in pericolo e voi mi chiedete veramente questa cosa?”.
