I am quite certain that Stephen Miller et al •wanted• and •expected• an ICE agent to get killed in Minneapolis, assumed based on their misunderstanding of our response to the murder of George Floyd that that's what would happen, were baffled when it didn't, and finally cut back the invasion not because they were shamed out of town but because when 2–3 days passed after they killed Alex Pretti and •still• nobody killed any ICE agents in retaliation, they decided it just wasn't going to happen and they needed to try a different approach. A blind refugee abandoned by #CBP is dead. N Alam, a Rohingya refugee from Burma, was nearly blind & spoke no English.
