Trump's decision stopped short of #threats issued by #Hegseth & the #Pentagon, including that it could invoke the Defense Production Act to require Anthropic's compliance. The Pentagon had also said it considered designating #Anthropic a #SupplyChain risk, a step previously only used against businesses tied to foreign adversaries. But #Trump vowed further action if Anthropic did not cooperate with the phaseout. #law #AI #surveillance #AutonomousWeapons #privacy #security #InfoSec

Threat-actors are actively targeting PLC's, which are critical to OT operations. At a minimum these items should be on private VLANS, with limited IP access, maybe even VPN only. No one wants poisoned water, chemical spills or non-reactivate nuclear reactors. CISA is warning on Iranian threats targeting PCLs. When the enemy has no quams with hurting civilians all options are on the table. https://www.cisa.gov/news-events/cybersecurity-advisories/aa26-097a #cybersecurity #Threats

Dugan resigned the Milwaukee County circuit judgeship she had held for 9 years in January amid #threats of impeachment from #Republican state lawmakers who labeled her an activist judge. In her resignation letter, she said her prosecution threatened “the independence of our #judiciary.” Republican US Rep Tom Tiffany, a fierce #Trump loyalist running for #Wisconsin governor, urged authorities to “lock her up” on social media following her conviction. #law #immigration
