The #Daylily du jour is again an assortment of the same 3 varietals, so I apologize for being so repetitive.
There are 5 plants in one bed and 7 in the other that look ready to open, so hoping we get to see a bloom before the deer find them again, like last year.

Still learning…but this is me. Love physical exercise like yoga 🧘🏼♀️ pilates or balance 🤸🏼♂️plus a bit of pump 🏋🏼♀️ but also happy to just walk 🚶♀️ I believe we’ve lost our way when it comes to food & am a proponent of J.E.R.F. Just Eat Real Food & very little processed or packaged food. Love my garden, especially when I grow my own produce. Not very good at it, but that’s ok. At 73 life is pretty damned good, healthier than I was 30yrs ago & intend to stay that way for as long as I can. Wiradjuri country.

Good morning Fedi friends. It’s another 8c morning but there’s definitely a lot of cloud around today. No rain though, at least not until this evening & today it’s forecast to reach a fairly nice 24c.
For the last couple of days my back has caused me a few issues, but I’ve obviously done all the right things because I woke this morning with no twinges, sore spots or pain. A lovely big full body stretch was achieved, you know those stretches that make you feel awesome - one of those 😃. It’s a good morning.
Just home jobs on the agenda today, some cleaning, some washing - easy stuff. I need to make an attempt to get the hedge clippers our & clip my pittosporums out the front. I want to bring them down more than a foot so that when winter arrives the winter sun will shine into my front porch. I’m actually thinking I might take them out after next summer & plant something that won’t grow so tall & doesn’t need hedging. I need to decide what though - thinking, thinking 🤔.
Apart from that I’ve been invited to a friends place for a cuppa later this morning, which works out well as it’s near the greengrocers where I also want to go.

I enjoy all types of movies/series, but especially #SciFi (#StarTrek, #StarWars, #TheOrville, #TheExpanse, #BattlestarGalactica, etc.). I'm a big #TheLordOfTheRings fan. And, yes, I am enjoying the #TheRingsOfPower series. #LOTR Exploring the outdoors is also something that brings me joy (#scubadiving, #hiking, #biking, #camping, #fishing, etc.). Love at first sight: The world created upholstered recliners for cats. No doubt about it. So much more efficient for clawing than a silly old scratching post. It has arms to perch on horizontally and dig in. It has a back and sides if you prefer to stretch vertically while scratching. And if you exhaust yourself during the pedicure, a comfy seat will do nicely to curl up on, to further groom.
