I really like that the Librem 5 is a full Linux handheld device where I can use all Linux commands, and have full freedom. No AI by default on the Librem 5, no ads, focus on #privacy and #security. I guess it's impossible to remove Google from Android phones. I have disabled Google, but cannot delete it. And it re-enabled itself later. @Linux@linuxrocks.online @robianhood@mastodon.social I'd say the fully #FreeSoftware / #OpenSource #PureOS from @purism@social.librem.one is also (probably*) commercially viable. Any particular reason you excluded it?

There's also #FuriOS from @furilabs@fosstodon.org While it's probably a bit early to determine its success, at least they made enough money to continue development and release a new model without crowdfunding.

Based on the fact that #Purism is still in business, fulfilling orders and making new OS releases and announcing new products...
