If you run #postmarketOS on a phone with cell carrier service AND use MMS and/or Visual Voicemail (probably US-only), I would *really* use some help testing this patch: https://gitlab.postmarketos.org/postmarketOS/pmaports/-/merge_requests/9005
You can test it with: sudo apk add mrtest && mrtest upgrade 9005
I want to make sure that MMS and VVM still work when connected to mobile data only & when connected to wifi+mobile.

I stumbled upon #seeqie , a terminal-based image viewer that uses Sixel Graphics. Written in #bash. It works fine with #foot #wayland on my desktop, but also on my #postmarketOS #sxmo phone. Nice!

Currently there is no way for applications to get or set the screen orientation on #linuxmobile #wayland. This results in things like not being able to take landscape pictures using the camera or games not having the correct orientation.
I created a RFC wayland protocol to implement this. If you have ideas or opinions about this please leave them in the pull request below:

My first successful launch of @CoMaps@floss.social's Android app on Linux, via #AndroidTranslationLayer! I previously tried using CoMaps with Waydroid, but Waydroid does not support GPS.
Very broken right now, but I got it to at least launch after two days of debugging / relearning Java syntax. Hopefully eventually this means I can use it on my #postmarketOS phone!

Boot partitions have been increased to 512MiB by default in pre-built images, and will be created so by the upcoming pmbootstrap 3.11 version.
"For quite a while now, 256MiB has served us very well, but we've been starting to see issues with larger kernel packages like linux-postmarketos-stable or linux-next, which occupy around 150MiB on /boot on aarch64 systems due to the large number of device tree blobs shipped with the kernels."
