#postmarketosandalpinelinuxconference2026

And the first postmarketOS and Alpine Linux conference has started! Don't worry if you couldn't make it to the event physically, we're streaming it online at https://streaming.media.ccc.de/pmosc/5053-2 You can ask questions to the speakers on Matrix at #conference:postmarketos.org and IRC at #postmarketos-conference on the OFTC network. #postmarketOSandAlpineLinuxConference2026 #postmarketos #linuxmobile

Gave my talk "Can you daily-drive postmarketOS?" today at #postmarketOSAndAlpineLinuxConference2026. Thanks everyone for the support; it was a blast! It's my first conference talk, so I'm happy it came together hehe Many thanks to all the organizers of the conf, who made all this possible, and to everyone who attended and spoke, who made it unforgettable. Congrats on the new name to @nura@social.treehouse.systems (go follow them!), and here's to another amazing year. #nuraeco #postmarketOS #LinuxMobile

After a one and a half year selection process, the new name of the operating system formerly known postmarketOS has been announced during the mystery talk of our very own conference. From now on this project is known as Nura! Blog post: https://nura.eco/blog/2026/09/27/nura-rename/ Mastodon: @nura@social.treehouse.systems Hashtag: #Nuraeco #postmarketOS #postmarketOSandAlpineLinuxConference2026

I have uncovered a major scandal. The background image on https://alpinelinux.org is not actually a photograph of the Alps, it is taken near the Annapurna base camp in Nepal. #postmarketOSandAlpineLinuxConference2026

Less than one day until the conference starts!! Here are another five teasers for the #postmarketOSandAlpineLinuxConference2026. And yes, that is the official hashtag now. It's great, right? 😁
