How would one host a live stream with >1,000 participants off of a residential network connection? Invoking multicasting or a whole lot of caching proxy servers might have a path to be able to do that.

I think that's really why iOS and Android are inferior to Windows, Mac, Linux. It looks like ChromeOS can build Android apps at least.

@kevin Search for the invocation section of man bash. It lists the order the configuration files are processed in, /etc/profile should be first and for both interactive and non-interactive shells. Though something else later might override setting the PATH? Also you might also need to add an export PATH in in whatever script you change the path in.

The File -> open/save convention of older desktop software is completely unfamiliar to them. Does this need more than for someone to realize they need teach how to use a hierarchical file system? @ocdtrekkie @cwebber @MichaelTBacon Though I'm not sure a transformer LLM is the best tool for analyzing logs. Maybe there's a way to get to be a more forgiving parser for logs? But the analyzing logs for something exceptional that needs to be responded to is probably some other technique.

But for a new user avoid small distros you want easy to maintain.

I've been thinking about wars leading to rolling blackouts for civilians, and went searching for how Ukrainians have been dealing with it.

So the first solution was to get large rechargeable power blocks like the ecoflow, with smaller power banks for his router and LED strip lighting. Then the outages got longer and he got a generator, (and then another better generator because the ecoflow is picky about what power it will accept)

I also found myself envious that a random Ukrainian in a smallish looking neighborhood had fiber to the house.

Dang the USA is backwards.

that seems like a weird number to me, I thought usually if you were shipping something it'd be in friendly human comprehensible boxes.

@PhoenixSerenity I don't know why anyone would criticize people for building and living in tunnels when faced with continual bombing. Going deep underground is pretty much the only way to survive. I'm curious about the engineering of the tunnels in case in need a tunnel too.
