Używacie Obtainium na GrapheneOS z włączonym Mullvadem lub innym VPN i ciągle wyskakuje wam błąd "Too Many Requests"? To efekt uboczny współdzielonego IP, przez co błyskawicznie wyczerpuje się limit anonimowych zapytań do API GitHuba. Da się to naprawić w minutę. Musicie tylko mieć lub założyć darmowe konto na GitHubie. Następnie wchodzicie tam w ustawienia konta, w sekcji Developer Settings otwieracie dokładnie zakładkę Tokens (classic) i generujecie nowy Personal Access Token. Co kluczowe, przy jego tworzeniu nie zaznaczacie absolutnie żadnych uprawnień. Taki pusty token wklejacie w ustawieniach dostawców w Obtainium. Wasz limit skacze z 60 do 5000 zapytań na godzinę i aktualizacje z powrotem śmigają bez zająknięcia. #grapheneos #obtainium #vpn #github #foss

I really appreciate Obtainium's ability to do backups. I am probably going to change my phone soon and that will so helpful. #Obtainium

Nie każdy lubi wklejać linki w Obtainium i szuka po prostu czystego interfejsu sklepu. Jeśli chcecie odejść od F-Droida bez rezygnacji z wygody, sprawdźcie Komi Store (dawniej GitHub Store). To elegancki katalog aplikacji FOSS, który pobiera pakiety APK bezpośrednio z wydań na GitHubie czy Codebergu, z pominięciem centralnych pośredników F-Droida. Zapewnia wygodne przeglądanie według kategorii, auto-aktualizacje i weryfikację podpisów deweloperów u źródła. Ma też świetną funkcję importu listy z Obtainium, więc idealnie sprawdza się jako narzędzie do odkrywania nowego oprogramowania. I have moved all my repositories away from #Codeberg. This includes #Phandroid. The cool part: For Fdroid-users (and similar stores) this is fully transparent. You don't need to do anything. Only #Obtainium users that used the Codeberg repository directly need to adjust their settings manually. The old Codeberg page tells you what to do. The new home of Phandroid is https://code.umrath.dev/thoralf/Phandroid . I'm quite pleased how the process turned out and that most users won't notice the change.

Going on a narrowboat holiday. We're music lovers and want an old-fashioned MP3 player to listen to our 7,500+ songs. We want none of your streaming/Spotify nonsense. Aha - old Pixel device, converted to GrapheneOS. Obtainium and Auxio (FOSS music player) added. No SIM and WiFI turned off, so just Bluetooth to attach to speakers or headphones. I'm increasingly finding I'm dumbing down more and more devices to get the most out of them. #Music #MP3 #Pixel #GrapheneOS #Obtainium #Auxio #FOSS

@a53bdb@mastodon.social Thanks for the info. I also have these stores installed (I know, #obtainum is no store, anyway). I wonder how you assure when using #obtainium to get the right apk file. I do not neccessarily find checksums / hashes for each apk file I want to install.

@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social maybe a stupid question of someone who is new to #graphene_os will the update pushed through to the App Store or must it be installed from #github (e.g. by using #Obtainium). Or a completely different way? Thanks in advance to everyone for helping.
