Is Seedvault still the way to backup GrapheneOS? If so, is Seedvault still hit or miss? My attention has been elsewhere for a bit and I've heard rumors a better way was in the works; is that here/still in the works? @GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social #grapheneos #graphene_os

@grapheneos_de@mastodon.social Hallo, @grapheneos_de@mastodon.social , bin jetzt seit gut einem Jahr mit zwei Geräten mit #graphene_os unterwegs und bereue es nicht 😉 . Als die Katalanische Polizei für GrapheneOS unfreiwillig Werbung machte, war der Schritt bei mir endgültig entschieden es mal selber auszuprobieren. Gerne folge ich Euch :fediverse: Wie ich gerade sehe, seit Ihr ja #neuhier 🔴 Katalanische Polizei geht gezielt gegen Nutzer von Pixel-Smartphones vor ➡️ Auf den Geräten lassen sich alternative Betriebssysteme mit Fokus auf Datenschutz wie GrapheneOS installieren. @GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social maybe a stupid question of someone who is new to #graphene_os will the update pushed through to the App Store or must it be installed from #github (e.g. by using #Obtainium). Or a completely different way? Thanks in advance to everyone for helping.
