Paging everyone on Fedi who has experience with putting Linux on unusual things! My old smartphone is a Huawei Honor 7A DUA-L22. I no longer use it, I have a different phone. I want to turn it into a Linux box. Is there any way to do that? I am not afraid to risk bricking the phone as it's borderline e-waste anyways. Google search didn't help. AI didn't help. Als Betreiber einer Huawei- Photovoltaik- Anlage bekam ich in den letzten wenigen Tagen bereits zwei Mal eine Meldung, dass Huawei sein Europa- Geschäft an eine europäische Gruppe namens "Energy Orb Europe" weitergibt - zum 15. Juli. Unter dem Namen der Gruppe gebe es eine App gleichen Namens, die mit den vorhandenen Login- Daten (wie bei Huawei) die Verwaltung erlaube... Der PlayStore, wo die App verfügbar sein soll, kennt sie nicht. Ich hätte drei Monate Zeit, den Transfer meines Kontos auszuführen. Hat das noch jemand bekommen?
