La communication du CERN est bien ficelée et a pour unique but, nous faire croire que la recherche fondamentale en physique des particules est une condition nécessaire à la continuation de la vie humaine sur Terre.

Le CERN repose sur un porte-à-faux normatif. Côté pile, il revendique une science éthérée, neutre, pure affaire de l’esprit, qui justifie de ne pas être expliquée en détail au profane. Sous cet angle, les applications en aval ne relèvent pas de ses prérogatives. Côté face, il entend développer des partenariats « utiles à la société » ; Raphaël Bello insiste sur le rôle structurant du CERN aux échelles régionales, nationales et internationales.

Le FCC est un énième exemple de la fuite en avant du libéralisme.

En réponse à l’obsolescence du LHC, le CERN ne semble pas avoir d’alternative au développement d’un outil superlatif comme le FCC, indépendamment du fait que la théorie soit cette fois-ci en retard par rapport à la technologie.

What communities / forums discuss #PhoneSpam? I'm looking for serious discussion on telemarketing, robocalls, AI calls, and unsolicited voice or text comms generally. Here on the Fediverse or elsewhere. I'm aware that the #FCC has / has had several recent rulemaking requests for comment. I'm afraid I've missed most such windows. I'd like to know what's being tried, successfully or otherwise, throughout the world. The problem seems severe in the US presently, but I suspect it's growing elsewhere.
