A photographer stuck in an tech world. One of my favourite past time activities is taking pictures. Being outside hunting for that one good shot and sharing it online gives me a great amount of satisfaction. Besides posting about photography I also dabble in 3D modeling/printing, electronics, programming and I run a local FM radio station so you may see posts about those topics too!

@fribbledom@mastodon.social and then there is debugging, where when an environment change breaks your code and the ops department makes a request to update libraries and runtimes supported in the code. That’s where the “it works on my computer” excuse comes in play . So instead of being a good developer you just invent docker, lift your developer environment and stick it into the container and ship that to the ops people. Like who gives a damn about updated libraries and runtimes when you can be lazy! 😉

My trainer put me on keto, so I’m treating it like food prepping. 🥩🥦
Meals ready a couple days ahead, stacked in the fridge for quick grabs.

Found a local shop with deli containers in all shapes and sizes - such a game changer for keeping things organized.

Now let’s see if I can stick with it 😅

It took me 15 years to finally adopt using the Apple Launchpad application over just having an applications folder in my dock and I had even spent some time organizing my applications in a neat way.

And then Apple took that away! :(

I guess I'm going back to the Applications folder in dock approach..

Did some high precision* cutting to make this cable a bit narrower. Now I can charge my Bluetooth headset for my helmet with a USB-C to Micro-B cable instead of the USB-A to Micro-B cable that came with it.

I really enjoy the fact that the #Affinity software collection does not force you to buy/upgrate to the new 2.x version. I’m still using 1.10 for most of my things and I’m pretty happy. Unlike #Photoshop which require a license and steals your work so #Adobe can make a stupid #AI.

I’ve been working on a project where I had to print 100 coasters for a client. I figured I would print a storage box so the coasters was easy to transport to my client.

I used up an entire kilogram of galaxy green PLA and while printing the last bit of the last box I had to feed it some leftover PLA I had laying around as the spool ran out 🫢

The result is the last transport box gets a black bit 😅 but it doesn’t matter since they’re temporary anyway!

@deviantollam@defcon.social here’s a new one for me.
I’m heading to a business meeting in London and I go to call an elevator, I’m greeted by a touch panel.
Apparently you tell it which floor you are going to, it then tells you which elevator to get and inside the elevator there at pretty much no buttons aside from open doors and alarm.
I’ve never seen a design like this before.

This little bugger crawled around my apartment today. I captured it into a small tray and took a couple of pictures of it with my SLR before releasing it outside. I wonder what kind of bug that is. I've never seen one of those around here before (Copenhagen, Denmark).
