The 13th annual international Gender Census 2026 is now open until at least 13th August 2026! https://survey.gendercensus.com It's for anyone whose gender (or lack thereof) isn't described by the M/F binary. It's short and easy, and results are useful in academia, business and self-advocacy. #gender #survey #LGBT #LGBTQ

People in SCE marketing and analytics... I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to answer this... Am I reviewing how a public utility I pay for, rely upon to function in society, and expect quad 9s of uptime that had an infrastructure outage for multiple hours, and you want to know how pleased I was about the outage? Or was it the experience I had dealing with loopholes and online forms that were JUST *BARELY* mobile friendly enough to fill out to report said outage? I can't tell just from this email. Consider your audience, not just the data you crave and sell to brokers. #socaledison #powerutilities #SCE #survey

If you consider yourself "nontechnical" or feel that computers are for someone else to understand: What are some questions you have about social media, the internet, computers, phones, linux? What you wish you understood, to help you make decisions about your digital life and digital communities. These could be "how does X work" but also "why do we do things this way" or "would it be possible to Y". I'm chatting with a local collective about running some talks or workshops along these lines. Try to get normal folks comfortable talking about change they want to see. I have some ideas for topics but want to know what people actually care about. No promises but this might turn into online resources too. <3 #nontechnical #survey #AskFedi:reply_request: :boost_requested:

The annual Social Web Operations Survey from IFTAS is open! With 50,000 active nodes federating we want the community's voice to be heard. Whether you're running a personal node, a relay, or a larger community, your feedback directly shapes the tools, resources and advocacy IFTAS takes on. The survey takes less than ten minutes to complete: https://tally.so/r/81MW6k @jaz@mastodon.iftas.org is looking for feedback especially from NodeBB instance admins, so if you have a NodeBB forum, he'd love to hear from you!
