Ok so my stupid #Bryton GPS tracker can upload .fit files onto: Its Own Bryton Active#strava KomootReliveTraining PeaksNolio Any ideas how to get .fit from ANY of these for FREE? Bryton doesnt have it Strava blocked api other - i dont ever used but i am looking to any way for automatized (n8n? curl?) download them bulky or one by one... so i just put them on my fittrackeee #sport #cycling #gps #bryton #fittrackee

There is something to be said about conditioning and data liberation wrt/ this exchange. Platforms conditioned people to think that the companies own the data and that there is nothing a person can be done about it. Maybe solvable by paying some data-ransom. It can be either by design [plug any big-enough corp here] or by crappy #UX like in the case of #Strava here.

In case you were not aware: Sharing routes from #strava with non strava users is not possible. They will not let you view the route, download #GPX, edit (a copy), nothing. The only flow allowed is to register to do even the most basic things. So please before sharing, make sure that the other person actually has strava account. Or use any other service that does not put basic things behind login. #Locus #LocusMap

Über die Kooperation zwischen #AppleFitness und #Strava hab ich mich schon mal aufgeregt, richtig? Egal, heute nochmal: Ich fahre auf #Zwift, das wird zu Strava hochgeladen. Strava wiederum schickt es zurück an Apple Health. So weit, so gut, nur könnte Strava bitte auch alles schicken, was sie haben? Siehe Herzfrequenz: Zwift schickt Strava offensichtlich eine vollständige Kurve, aber Health bekommt von Strava nur ein paar wenige willkürliche Punkte, nicht mal min/max/mittel. Völliger Quark.

I'm in a local #running club where one runner has OCD about everyone ending their runs on .00 miles. If you end up short at .99, he'll make sure to comment on your Strava run asking why you couldn't just run around the parking lot or whatever to push it over. Well tomorrow is his 40th birthday, so a friend and I decided to have a bit of fun making a self-referential Strava art: drawing "9.99 MILES" that is indeed 9.99 miles. Morning Run ...garnicht so der Morgenmensch aber kann man ja nach langer Zeit mal wieder versuchen - grad eben mal früher aufgestanden, versucht etwas in Schwung zu kommen und dann ab raus.
