Short on time and locations this morning after a week resting my achilles from workouts and just easy running. It was back to where my #running journey started doing couch25k round my local park, but this time for a Mona fartlek (2x90s, 4x60s, 4x30s, 4x15s). Happy with the paces and didn't get chased by any of the dogs also trying to beat the lastest #UKHeatwave I now get to trap and transport 2 cats for their annual vaccinations. #TrackTuesday #RunnersOfMastodon

Early up and out, now I‘m tired again. But it was worth running in a perfect sub-20-degrees weather. I even caught some good glances of the #willibaldsburg in #eichstaett during the run — and took pictures! Today, we‘ll drop off two of our kids at some friends‘ house then head back to #aalen #running #coros #apex4

If you look at my mile splits (and not the km ones) a nicely progressive #parkrun effort at my NENDY of Southwick Country Park. Almost 3 laps on rocky mostly flat trail, managed to drag myself up to 14th place overall and 1st lady. 82nd different location, 9th 'S' location, and a date bingo to boot. New NENDY is Shepton Mallet. #running #RunnersOfMastodon

2 things. 1. If you are over 35 climate you grew up in (20th century) no longer exists, not coming back without restoration. 2. 5 yrs from now what we are experiencing will be the norm, 10 years out cooler than avg. Our extreme heat in July preceded by warm/dry OCT-APR already killing conifers vulnerable S-facing warm/dry slopes up to 2600m Lakefork Canyon. Longer periods of enhanced thermal belt effects 🔥. 28C at 2100m start our Canyon run, very dry. #climate #running #dogs #montana #mountains

🏃‍♂️ Zitiere mich jetzt mal selbst, wenn ich noch bis vor 4 Jahren jemanden bei 30 °C durch die Gegend laufen gesehen habe:

"So bescheuert möchte ich auch mal sein!" *Ohne Worte lol Heute definitiv den Schongang eingelegt bzw. der Körper hat von alleine gewusst, heute is nix mit "rennen" 😅

Track Tuesday The idea was a 10min warm up - 3x4:30 for 6min / 2min jog ibt - 10min cool down ...I had to cut the second one to a 400m 😎 ...the humidity was killing me. I need to work on my threshold stamina..not sure if I will be ready for a 5k PR on the 30th of this month... 🤌😎 #running #Phuket #trackrunning
