Here I go with #ThreeGoodThings 1) still can’t believe I completed 51st #sketching /#drawing today—sure seems like a lot to me 2) able to quietly process and think through quite a bit while visiting my family and 3) got back to Everett safely despite #Nissan in #Everett didn’t torque drain plug enough before I took off left me unknowingly leaked oil all the way to #Sacramento. Thank goodness engine didn’t blow up before I got there. My brother-in-law tightened enough to get me back up here

Rebuild For this one I learned about imping, attaching donor feathers to the base of the shafts of a living bird, to get it flying again without having to wait for next year's feathers to come in. The process was developed for hunting falcons, but is now also used to rehabilitate wild birds.
