Many more women than men have been diagnosed over the years with ‘personality disorders’.
These labels are much more personally damning than autism or ADHD - as they judge who you are, rather than explaining how you function.

So... who's surprised? Racism, misogyny, xenophobia, islamophobia in the Met (London Metropolitan Police).
It's still upsetting and depressing though.
And the sad thing is there are lots of decent police officers and they end up getting tarred with the same brush.

Tesco's fight back against claims the pay fro warehouse staff is higher than for shop floor staff because the former are mainly men & the latter women is under way at an employment tribunal.
Tesco's claims pay differentials are based on operational need & material differences; responding to 'economic reality';
whether this can defeat longstanding accusations of sexism in pay rates at the firm will have significant further impact on the gender pay gap!

Not sure why - perhaps it's a matter of a cultural predilection among some women to given men a free pass thru misdirected empathy - but there are also far too many instances of some women excusing or echoing some men's derogatory attitudes towards women.
