Agi: L'Ue approva nuove norme per la tutela degli adulti vulnerabili AGI - Il Consiglio e il Parlamento europeo hanno raggiunto un accordo su nuove norme per garantire i diritti degli adulti che necessitano di protezione o sostegno in situazioni transfrontaliere. Ciò include i diritti relativi alla vendita di proprietà, all'assistenza medica o al trasferimento in un altro paese. Si tratta di norme importanti a fronte di un progressivo invecchiamento della popolazione. Secondo i dati dell'UE, si prevede che la percentuale di persone con più di 65 anni che vivono con una qualche forma di disabilità aumenterà del 77% entro il 2050. Tutela degli adulti vulnerabili La nuova legge tutelerà i diritti degli adulti che non sono più in grado di prendere decisioni senza un qualche tipo di supporto, ad esempio le persone affette da patologie legate all'età, come il morbo di Alzheimer, che sono assistite da un familiare o da un altro rappresentante.
