Just remembered the Z-Hop* setting in #Cura. Now my C64 keyboard dust cover should hopefully print without incident. :D

  • Causes the print head to jump up whenever moving over a printed layer to prevent the print head from snagging the part being printed and yanking it off the build surface (print/print head collision)

commodore 64 BASIC is an abomination, so many secret codes for doing things. for instance, it lacks a CLS command, and you must just know PRINT CHR$(147)... i want to find a popular platform for releasing BASIC code that is not the commodore 64 -- any suggestions? i was thinking the zx spectrum? something sinclair maybe? perhaps we are just stuck with the c64, though, its popularity is pretty overwhelming. #tinybasic #commodore64 #basic #retrocomputing

My Commodore 64 Ultimate arrived 2 days ago and this thing has kept me busy. I'm still learning how to use this thing but I've already figured out how to load cassettes and floppies, as well as connect to the internet (C64U can emulate a modem peripheral and connect to the internet, and it includes programs to connect to old BBSes). Eventually I will get to programming this thing, but since I've never used a C64 before, I have a bit to learn until then. #commodore64 #c64

I purchased a KungFu SID replacement for the 6580 SID in my resurrected C64 in order to preserve the old chip. After de-soldering the old SID and installing a socket, I played some demos and music and determined this KungFu Sid is better used as part of a DIY synth project or something. So in goes the old 6580 SID. #commodore64
